How he gets over this problem will be very good reading. Loved the story.

I loved the beginning of this book. It hooked me right away. Eight-year-old Becky had been looking after her father all her life and now thinks he needs a wife. So she put together a plan to find him one. The things she does to put him together with the woman she’s chosen are cute. They make perfect sense to an 8-year-old but not appreciated by an adult like her father.

Becky was adorable. And her dad, Taggart, was terrific with her. He had raised her alone after his wife left them when Becky was a few months old. Taggart was happy taking his daughter with him when he went on the road bull riding, but after a serious car accident, it occurred to him that he was Becky’s only parent. He didn’t want to risk leaving her without a parent so he retired from riding bulls; opening a school where he taught the sport. This allowed him more time to be with Becky. He thought their lives were good with just the two of them and didn’t want a wife. But Becky thought her new teacher would be a perfect wife for him and a good mother for her. After all, she didn’t like carrots either. To an 8-year-old, that makes her perfect mother material.

The chemistry between this couple was strong but they tried to fight their desire because he was the father of one of her students and also because he had been hurt in a relationship before. Even though this story was slow moving, it has a good storyline and it was easy to feel the attraction between these two.

I liked this spicy story but thought the ending was a bit quick. Having said that, I recommend this fun, spicy romance.
This is a cute and fun story about a cowboy who is afraid to risk his heart and his adorable 8 year old daughter who wants a mother. Taggart Jones is a retired bull riding champion who is now running a school to train bull riders. When his ex-wife left him and his two week old daughter, he continued on the rodeo circuit, but with his daughter by his side. Now that they are back in Elmer, Montana for good, Becky decides she wants a mother. When widowed Felicity Albright moves into town and becomes her new teacher, she decides that Felicity meets all her requirements. With the help of her best friend, she starts a campaign to make it happen. I really enjoyed this story. A handsome cowboy who is afraid to love again and a young woman who has the courage to try for a second chance at love. The hero and heroine are perfect and the side characters are wonderful. Elmer, Montana seems like a great place to visit and I intend to by reading the next book in the series.

A stand alone read with a HEA. I downloaded this book because the plotline sounded like a cute, sweet story. It was. A divorced father with a precocious young daughter is about to have his life changed for the better. His ex-wife left when their baby was a few months old. She didn't like his lifestyle, where he lived, what he did for a living, in fact she didn't like anything so she left. He did just fine riding bulls, becoming a world champion and raising his daughter.

However, his daughter thinks he is missing the love of a good woman. She needs a mother and he needs a wife. In their small town there are not many candidates to choose from. On the first day of school she finds her perfect match. Her teacher is new to town and so she sets out to get these two together. The teacher is a young widow still grieving the husband she lost two years ago. She wants to start anew and move on with her life. The single men in town are not very plentiful but after a call to come to the school and discuss his daughter she finds herself wildly attracted to the handsome cowboy.

He puts up a bit of a fight. This cowboy hero is a bit different from most. He seems to be rather shy and aloof when it comes to meeting women. he doesn't want a relationship or a wife he just wants to be left alone. However, he cannot stop thinking about the pretty teacher. The daughter and her best friend work to throw these two together again and again and again. He knows what they are up to but the teacher doesn't.

At first I thought this was going to be a sweet romance but in a snowstorm it gets rather hot and steamy. It is a good story of two people finding their way to a HEA and one delighted 8 year old beside herself to get a new mother that also hates carrots. It is funny, sweet, a little scary when the bulls come on the scene and very entertaining. I definitely recommend it.
