It's great series
One of the best clean wholesomeness books ever wish there were more like this set. wish you still wrote more of these kinds of books.
This has been re-read over and over. Enough said!
An early American romance when mixed breed Indians were frowned upon. Good plot and romance.
Linda Howard is one of my all time favorite romance authors. I think I have read every book she has written but the Mackenzie books are my favorite. I put them away for awhile and then return to read them over and over again.
Mackenzie's Pleasure is a really good book to read. It has the feel of a white knight rescuing the damsel in distress and ends with the same feeling. I have re-read it more than a few times. Really good one by Linda Howard.
I bought this book because it was by Linda Howard, whom I enjoy in her current novels, but this one was awful. As soon as the main character (SPOILER ALERT) was aroused by the kidnap victim whom he found lying naked, bound and brutalized, I knew I was in trouble. I realize romance novels have changed in the years since this book was written, but still ... The only bright spot was the family of the main character, the MacKenzie clan. I think I'd like to know them.

The Beverly Barton story wasn't better. This story was cliched to the extreme (single woman won't tell the father of her child that he IS the father of the child for some ridiculous reason) and the deception goes on and on and on well past when a reasonable person would give up on the lie.
