But note that when a sub dives the command is,"make your depth xxx feet" not "yards" and the Admiral is in charge of a "carrier battle group" not a carrier battle "fleet". Additionally, it seems implausible for military men attending a funeral to have rifles and grenades. I read all 3 of the books. The story line is really mesmerizing, definitely holds your attention from beginning to end. Occasionally there are words used out of contex, missing words, etc so the editing could have been better, but it doesn't take away from the story line.
Plenty of suspenseful action! Really paints a picture of our special forces and what they go through. I've read all 5 of the Echo Six books and its been hell of a roller-coaster, now I'm waiting for #6! A great read for sure!
This is the second "Black Ops" series book I have read. Well researched, excellent story line presented in a way to maintain my interest, making it difficult to put down, and always anxious to pick it up again. Definitely met expectations & I will seek more books in this catagory and author!
The only thing I believe could be improved, would be the spelling of or wrong word choice on occasion. This, I suspect is due to the conversion of the "printed" book to the "digital" version of the book. Not the fault of the author.
Almost like you are on the same job and can smell the same thing es could use more variety of pistols and new technology from rayathon.
I enjoyed the book, but it is not one of those books that I just couldn't put down, not a book that I could easily picture everything in it and not a book that when you look down at the clock you realize you have been up all not. Besides those issues, I enjoyed reading it because I enjoy reading and I enjoy this type of book, so it was good in that it was something to read.
Really good action --- fast moving, good character development & realistic. I've enjoyed all the Eric Meyers books --- read them all, chronologically, after getting the 1st one. would give it 4 1/2 stars if possible. Makes for a fast read as they are difficult to put down once you get started. Also like the continuation of characters from one novel to the next. Kinda like watching the old "24" series on TV but in a book.
Action packed, humor, keeps you guessing, and definitely is hard to put down, if this is what you like in a book you have got to read
"Echo Six Black Ops". The author made the characters come alive. When I got to the end of the book, I didn't want it to end. Some books you can guess the ending before you get there but not with this one. There is a mystery weaved throughout the story and I couldn't solve it until the end of the book. I will definitely read more books by Eric Meyer.
